There is the possibility indeed but it seems to me that we cannot draw many conclusions from possibility only. I think that the absence of any first-century - or near first-century - Christian literature is remarkable and surprising more generally. Was there really a Jerusalem Church, I wonder, with ‘many tens of thousands’ of members, as is claimed in Acts 21?
