I have a very old book in my library that was published in 1923. It is called “Wandering in Northern China” by Harry A Frank” who himself was Jewish from New York City.While in Kai feng he discovered a colony of some one or two hundred Chinese Jews descended from immigrants. Over the years they had been persecuted and the synagogue they had was destroyed. There existed only a tablet with the names of the most important Jews.. there was a picture in the book showing a photograph photograph of two of them in there store that sold clothing goods. They look very Chinese. I think it might be worth it to try to find out what happened to them and see if there progeny contain any valuable DNA
