I find it interesting that no mention is made of Jesus' time in Egypt among the Hellenistic Jews. Matthew informs us that Joseph was warned in a dream to go to Egypt. The New Testament doesn't really pick up on Jesus' early youth except for the mention in Matthew and later on in Jerusalem (Luke 3:21-52). The latter reference starts with Jesus' dedication at the temple (8th day after birth), has Him return to Nazareth and then a subsequent entry when He was 12 years old.
"41. Now His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. 42. And when He became twelve, they went up there according to the custom of the Feast;" Luke 2:41-42

Hosea 11:1) and the return to the home from which they traveled to Jerusalem for the annual festival. So, I present this as additional evidence that we can assert the likelihood that Jesus was conversant in Kione Greek.
