Presumably, you are too limited to have heard of the 'Subtle-Energy" bodies to which all this refers, and in terms of which it makes perfect sense. What really matters about The Last Supper is that it served as the ground for Lord Jesus to give his central Mystical Spiritual Teachings to his disciples, recounted in John 14, including his prediction of the means by which they would gain the powers that would identify them as advanced aspirants on the spiritual path to becoming the kind of God Man that is well known in the East, but who does not exist in the west, with rare exceptions like St Theresa of Lisieux, and the last Visionary of Fatima.
