I don't know Aramaic, except I know that some words are similar looking in Hebrew, which I have studied. I think that in Daniel 7:13-14, translators are misreading the Aramaic.
Paraphrasing, it is usually read as:
"I saw in visions of night, and behold, with עם the clouds of heaven [one] like a a son of man is coming..." and the kingdom will be given to him.
I think Daniel 7:13-14 might actually say:
"I saw in visions of night, and behold, the people עם of the clouds of heaven like a son of man is coming..." and to it will be given the kingdom.
The word "people" looks like the word "with" spelled ayin mem.
Also, in Daniel 7:27, an angel says that the kingdom is given to certain people. Commentators often say that the man who gets the kingdom is symbolic of the people who will get the kingdom, but I think the people are the thousands of people standing around God in Daniel 7:10. They are also probably standing on the clouds in heaven.
Scholars totally ignore that large group of people who could be the ones who get the kingdom, and instead they all read it as "with clouds of heaven, one like a son of man" is coming, even though it doesn't say "one like a son of man is coming..."
