This dichotomy of the Torah into two establishment structures is especially fruitful for understanding the essential Torah's fundamental theology which until the advent of rabbinical Judaism, shifted from the "self-sacrifice" (the Law written on the heart) in diaspora (Abram's faith is credited by God as righteousness), to the national Law written on stone tablets (by Moses, who lacks faith).
