There are some perplexing statements in this article. The author characterizes some of Heidegger's thought in terms of "Essence as Being," which makes absolutely no sense, since Essence is a way of characterizing Being [the classic distinction between Being as Essential (What-Being)/Existential (How-Being), for instance], not the other way around.
