The LOOP reverses direction (the chiastic hinge) at Exodus 1:7-10 where the pharaoh is alarmed by the "numbers and strength" of the Israelites who will now suffer a reversal of fortune that leads back to Canaan.

There is more to see in the Torah than Greek laws. The Torah's primary provenance is the Persian empire. It appears to have been updated in Alexandria (Gmirkin) utilizing Greek laws after the Persian empire had fallen, when the Jews were no longer a priestly caste in the service of the Persian empire. They now ruled their own people on their own, hence the need for an update of their laws.
