I, too, would like to know that this publication, stated above as slanted in a specific direction, doesn't lean into right-wing interpretations. (No, neither the words feminism nor progressive are found in the Bible, but that fact shouldn't stop any person from interpreting Scripture as expressions of ancient Jewish history, wars, famines, human emotion, love, compassion, and mercy--that is, God's "voice" in all of it, of love toward all tribes and social conditions, and people of all persuasions, including feminists and progressives.) The larger issue with BAR seems to be its quick assessment of the facts--artifacts, and its willingness to jump to conclusions regarding authenticity, according to the review. I recall receiving a year's worth of this publication about 15 years ago, and I recall cancelling it at the end of the year. But it does have nice photos.
